Robinson Arms XCR-M .308 (PRE-ORDER)

7.62x39 is way cheaper than 308. Both easy to get.

As Burnaby mentioned, both easy to get but .308 WIN is a much more powerful round and runs at almost three times the price. 7.62 x 39 just does not have the power or range to compete with the WIN round but it is super cheap. Another thing to consider is that almost all of the 7.62 x 39 out ther is not only military surplus (steel jacketed) but is also corrosive ammo.

This gun is the AR's bigger nastier brother you don't want to fool with!!

Hope this helps!

hell you can buy 1200-1400 rounds of 762x39 for anywhere from 190$-275$.

I HIGHLY doubt .308 anywhere is that cheap.

Fantastic rifle, not a big fan of Robarms now (love the m96) but this one may change my mind.

Looks like a fun rifle for hunting moose in brush country (in .308) but it's classification could change to restricted with the stroke of a pen....it wasn't that long ago that a HK-91 or AR-15 was legal to use in Canada for hunting too... a semi-auto is great for quick follow up shots but if it looks like an assult rifle some (more righteous than thou) bureacrat will try to stop you from having it....I just don't get what makes a semi-auto with a pistol grip more menacing than a Browning BAR. Maybe someone could explain it to me!!

I agree on the cost of both caliber but the 7.62 X 39 is only half the shadow of the 308 win, only for that, i would go with the 308 all the way... JP.

Gary this rifle really impress me since it is a 308, i might take one of those instead of the Tavor or the Nemesis we are waiting for, we will talk soon.... Cheers. JP.

OH MAAAAAAAAAAAN...

There are so many nice guns available right now. But I got a Kriss, Tavor and SR1911 on order right now... I will be getting this one eventually though.

Whats the difference between this and the XCM is it just parts to accommodate the large caliber?

Robinson firearms are proven tools... not even worried a sec, will buy my eyes closed, was thinking that my S&B Zenith 1.5X6X42 received for my birthday would be a match made in heaven for that XCR-M ... JP.

this is a wonderful gun, i only wish that my wallet was as big as my ambitions, and that it was ''nagging wife'' -proof

Wanstalls, just in case you didn't know, myself and many shooters I know are very impressed with your decisions! Ed Brown & Wilson Combat 1911s. The progressive sales, etc.!!!

You are definitely following the pulse of a majority of the shooters out there! Thanks!

Wanstall is pure evil. XCR, CORE, Ed Brown, Wilson, NightHawk, progressive sale is just too much, give our wallets a break.

Ditto!

I had promised to myself not to buy any more firearms (I'm up to around 60 now). But I find myself torn between the RFB and this XCR-M. Breaking my promise is no biggie, I'm nothing but a big, fat gun-nutter liar when it comes to guns...
