Hey guys Its been a hard 2 days for my Visa

this is what I got...

Savage 10-FCPK ( team ammo source )
EGW 20 MOA rail ( Ordered direct from EGW )
EGW Rings - 30mm - Low ( Ordered direct from EGW)
Viper PST Scope 4-16x50 MRAD (One shot Tactical )
Atlas Bipod (Ordered direct from Atlas)
Atlas 4" 1913 Rail To mount in the sling stud holes (Ordered direct from Atlas)

Good looking choices, I don't think you will be disappointed. I may have recommended a scope with more magnification but I don't know your circumstances. Enjoy !
 
Be prepared to work on the buttplate and comb. Unless your body magically fits the generic "average customer", your head and eye won't be in the best and most repeatable position.
 
good news... Just got an email from darkeaglecustom.com The savage 10 round mags are almost ready to be shipped out, these are drop in mags....

Cant wait to get them... Since I didnt want to go the bottom metal route... Way to expensive....

I never even heard of this company before. I will have to pick up a mag and an extended mag release.

I'm assuming they ship to Canada?
 
Got to wait 6 weeks for my Atlas bipod ... But I couldn't justify paying 100$ more + tax and shipping from a Canadian retailer...

So I ordered my Bipod and Rail direct from them since tehy ship to us...

Still have to confirm if Darkeagle Custom ships to us...

Got my scope today... Im pissed it didnt come with flip caps for the price I paid... But I did get some good news today about my Atlas Bipod... all serving military members that order thru Atlas get a 10% off so I saved almost 30$ on my order... But what I didn't know is that we also dont have the 6 week wait time. My bipod got shipped today...

Hi ###XX,

I am currently working on the 223/204 extended mag so I hope to have a prototype ready soon. I also am looking into how to export from the US to Canada.

I don’t have an export license but am looking into the legal issue I may have or finding someone that does that may export for a small fee as I have had several guys in Canada asking.

I will keep you posted as I learn anything.

No simply because the manf isn't licensed. Now if they ever got licensed, then happy days.

However, we are looking at producing bottom metal at a reasonable price to use quality AI mags. Especially in the 223, the AI mag is quite a bit better when you go to 10 rds.

I hope to supply aftermarket products shortly.

Unless this manf produces a mag specific to the sizing of the 223/Savage factory mag, it is a royal PITA to make work. I have done it with a 308 mag and would strongly recommend against it.

It works, most of the time but nothing like the ease and smoothness of an AI 223 mag.

With how much these drop ins cost, or will cost, it will not take long to get better value from proper bottom metal and mags for the 223.

SSS has been promising a 223 specific block for 2 yrs now. Who knows if one will ever be made?

For 308 shooters, the drop in is a very compelling product and it does work well with the factory mags. If you can get it.
