When can we expect the Mg34's ?

"Are these SA MG-34 being produced by TNW Firearms? If so, what would be the odds of maybe getting some of their M1919 as well?"

Yes the Mg-34s are TNW.... They are the only one approved by the CFC in Canada.

As I have explained before,US State will not grant export permits for the 1919a4 or the M2hb.

I suspected there was some limitation like that but my searches turned up nothing.

Thanks for the response.

"No it was not I that said that . But it was you that said No More US made semi auto non restricted 1919's "

Thats what I like about you, you are always positive, always looking to the positive side....

You and others asked a question, would we get more 1919SA guns....

I replied that yes we were getting more, I am immediately hit with a statement I made a long while ago, which WAS accurate a long time ago

Now that things have changed I get hell for having good news....

Perfect example why I get frustrated replying to questions on this board....

Don't give up you never know . Sometimes they are getting more & sometimes they are not :D

john are these mg-34s reliable ? ive been doing some searching on the net and people seem to have lots of problems with them and have to change parts often .. im intresteed in getting one just worried about its reliability

As the owner of 2 TNW MG34's, yes there can be all kinds of problems. Since I bought mine off the EE I can't personally speak about buying them from Marstar. But what I've learned is that they were NOT test fired and so the buyer sometimes got one that required a bit of work and if he was not familiar with the workings he'd have to send it back. Luckily my bud has a good working knowledge and brought both of mine back to life. Haven't had to change any parts but did a lot of filing to get things to fit properly. My 1919A4 on the other hand has worked like a charm from day 1 (also bought off the EE).

Hey John, I was just curious, any idea why we're getting MG34's instead of MG42's? I always thought the general consensus was the 42's were a much nicer looking MG than the 34's. And should be available in .308......

" any idea why we're getting MG34's instead of MG42's"
Simply because that is what is being manufactured at this time....

Mg-42s will likely follow in the future....in 8mm caliber.

John,

Do you warranty MG34's bought second hand or only one's bought new directly from you?

Assuming they're priced similarly (or lower) to the MG34, I'd be interested in an MG42, if and when they become available :)

.

Hmm - I'm getting conflicting prices on these guns - #1BCshooter pulls some random number I've never seen before out of nowhere while the marstar site's original price was $4k for a TNW mg34. Which of these is the anticipated price point? I fully recognize that getting these guns into canada is a thankless job and can take years (time = money) to get moving, so only looking for some clarification. For a belt fed, 2.5k is achievable, 4k not so much. Realistically I doubt I can afford these guns, but I'm interested in finding out.
