Ha, I have been on Wolverine's waiting list for 6 months. Last I heard I have close to a year to go. There is only 25 coming into the country per month and they are divided equally between the 5 dealers. Like someone else said, if you want one now try the EE or be prepared to wait a while and get on the list.

The ones in the US are chambered in and marked 7.62 NATO, and have a threaded barrel with a flash hider, so they're a no go for exportation from the US, as per US export laws.
The ones being imported here by Vault Distribution are chambered in and marked .308 Winchester, plus they have no threads for a flash hider, which makes them perfectly fine for export from the US, as far as the US DOS is concerned. As a bonus, the non threaded barrels on the Canadian version are long enough to make the rifle non restricted, while the 18 inch barrel on the US versions would make them restricted (if one were somehow lucky enough to get one out of the US). Unfortunately for the OP, this means that he's either going to have to get on a list and wait it out, or try his luck at the used market.
I found a place where there's one "left". The guy had a deposite on it but never came to take possession of it so i would be in a position ti buy it since the dealer is fed up of waiting for the first guy. I had the chance to handle it friday and WOW, what a nice gun to hold. It is VERY well balanced it's incredible.

Not noticeably. I shot with only one ear plug(have some hearing damage in m left ear). I did take a shot at a trotting buck at 250 yards, and missed. It didn't sound much louder at all. I found the recoil reduction was awesome. I was shooting small stones 2-3" in diameter out to 220 yards. No problem to hit them. Was shooting Hornady TAP with the 155 AMAX
I contacted kel-tec in regards to this,apparently they only changed the markings, the chambering remains the same. these are a go for 7.62x51
That's very interesting information indeed. Quite different than what Vault Distribution originally posted when they were getting final approval for the RFB from the US DOS:

The Grip was changed to say 308 WIN in order to pass regulations. The barrel however, remains un-changed from US model besides being not threaded.

Just inquiring as to the chambering of Canadian specific RFB's, I realize the markings have been changed, but would like to know if the actual chamber profile was changed.
Can the rfb fire 7.62x51 NATO in Canadian spec?
I'm now curious if it was as well. If it indeed was changed to .308, then it may be a bonus. If I recall correctly, commercial .308 ammunition creates higher pressures than 7.62X51 NATO. So a .308 chambered rifle should handle 7.62X51 NATO ammunition with no problem. I'm not 100% on this, but I do remember reading this from several sources before.
