UTS - 15 Review.. Video uploaded

Nice review and video Dimitri, helps to answer alot of questions.

In your vid it looks very light. I am guessing that the "loading covers" need to be closed before cycling the action?

If you cannot see the video, move your mouse to the upper left corner until a small menu comes up, move over to "file" and select "download" then download the video to you pc.

That I'll know after a next range trip this weekend, it could be because i was using the action release not the trigger.
 
Yea let the guy be familiar with it and take it out to the range first before making a comment about it not being smooth! I think it's fair to say when we first get our new gun we're often careful not to break it.

It DID look rough to me, so I asked. No harm in that is there?

I dunno about you but when I get a rifle or shotgun the first thing I do is drag it around the back 40 behind my Jeep in a torture test, then have a shower with it and then pour some oil ALL over us... I mean .. it.... Never treat it like anything but a biotch I say..... :cool: If it cant handle a couple of good hard racks, then I wouldn't want it anyways. :shotgun:

Besides, I know D from a Barney hosted M14 clinic, having met him I'm sure he can handle a couple of softball Q and A's... No??

Sheesh....

He has the greatest toys... LOL

It's hard to cycle a pump properly if its not shouldered or at least held by a pistol grip. I wouldn't be reading too much into its cycling effort at this point.

there are adjustment screws, you can make it as firm as you want.
What damage are you referring to? i think you can shoot it with the open gates no problem, worst case scenario, shell will get stuck on the edge of the loading port.. and to do that you would have to rack it very slow..
I will see if i can make another video of the action it self, its an interesting process...
 
That's gotta be the ugliest trigger guard I have ever seen

Smaller vertically than I thought it was now that I see it beside the rfb

I mean that the port looks like it's a couple of inches in front of your face when shouldered. Depending on the check-weld, if the gate open could it hit you in the face under recoil?
