Second NEA-15 batch yet?

They just posted pics of the new version of the collapsing stock on the back of what I believe is a 7.5" on their facebook. Looks pretty awesome!

Yeah, I know; great looking rig, but...

The pic I am after is of the NEA-15 with the 14.5" barrel and the 9" quad rail; I've been busting a few guys' balls trying to get a peek before I order my NEA-15 this week from Ryan.

Gotta see my options before I buy, right?

Sure you don't want the 10.5"? They're quite nice. Just imagine 4 more inches on the barrel. 9" handguard pictured

.. I'm trying to get a pic. I'm not in the shop. But I'm harassing them.

Much appreciated! Like I said though, I know you guys are busy. No worries if it takes a bit.

Thanks for the pic Stevo, sweet rig! I am pretty set on the 14.5" though, just undecided on the quad rail length right now. What sights do you have on there?

Those are Daniel Defense sights.

I have a 14.5" Armalite with an 11" Sampson fore-end on it. I think it's the perfect length for that size barrel. Long sight radius for irons and if you use the "thumb over the top" grip you can get your weak hand way out in front. I don't wrap my hand around the fore-grip, it's there to act as a hand-stop behind my hand.

Here's a pic of that one:

Another sweet looking setup! I am a little jealous I have to admit.

I am going to have a look around for the Daniel Defense sights you have pictured, they look pretty good. What I like is that from your picture, the front sight seems to mimic the normal FSB which is what I am used to shooting at work, so to have it on my own rifle would be a bonus for me.

I was originally hoping NEA would offer the NEA-15 with a 7" quad rail and FSB installed, but I'm not too concerned if I have to go with a 9" quad rail and no FSB.

Anyway, enough of my rambling; thanks again for the pics!

You're welcome.

A 9" rail on a carbine with a fixed front BUIS will mimic the standard carbine FSB geometry very closely. With the BUIS at the front of an 11" rail it's closer to where a FSB would be on a midlength gun.

A couple of questions about the 18" DMR version. First what is the accuracy like? Anyone tested them with a decent scope and good ammo? Second please tell me the trigger is upgraded and not your stock AR15 trigger.

I think that one is the most interesting to me at the moment. With a 1:7 polygonal barrel that's not Chrome lined I would think this could be fairly accurate. Factory results or expectations?

Thanks

From what I can tell except for the longer barrel and different stock the rifle is exactly the same as any other AR they sell.

Moi aussi.

any update on getting 14.5's? I've had mine preordered since October. It would be nice to know when to expect it!
