Ruger's New 4.2 Inch SP101. Do Want.

Not only do I love the feel of the SP101, this will make a great revolver for the misses. I just don't know if/when we will be getting it. Any thoughts?

Well ruger seems to make and sell to us canadians so hopefully it will show up with a 4.2" bbl.

GO ON RUGERS WEBSITE...THE BARREL IS 4.2"...I REPEAT 4.2" BARREL. (Jeff even says so in his video).

Califorina also now requries handguns to have 4.2" barrels so that is a good thing for us at least.

I am pretty sure you are thinking of the GP100.

It now does come in a 4.2 inch barrel lol thats what this tread is about ... the SP101 is more compact lighter and less over build than the GP100 we have here now..

Ahhh.. i see... I just figured it was the same as the GP100 but with a front F/O sight.

I've always liked the look of Ruger wheelguns, but only owned S&W.

I'm pretty sure the SP101 is a bit smaller than the K frame of the 66. But keep in mind that the SP101 is only a 5 shot vs the 6 shot of the 66. Apples to oranges and all that.....

well the video is wrong , its a 4.2 check out rugers website .. California has the 4.2 rule just like us, thats good for us cause it makes more stuff available here..
