You DO NOT need to be a member of a club in order to purchase a restricted in ONTARIO. Stop with this s**t. I owned 4 restricted before joining a club and my first transfer went through within 4 hours.
You do need to indicate that you intend to join a club and which club you intend to join, which would be Silverdale in your case. If you are purchasing in Ontario, you do not need proof of membership.
If you are purchasing out of another province, like BC or wherever there is some backwards CFO policy taking place, they will ask for proof of membership.
Now, what are the implications of not being a member of a club when your license comes up for renewal? I have not crossed that bridge yet, but there is nothing in law that says you have to be a member of a club, though some CFO policies create a catch-22 in that regard.
Purchase with confidence.
EDIT: And about the ATT. You would not need one to have it shipped to your door. If it happens to go to the post office, just go pick it up. It is Christmas. There are a lot of packages flying around. You don't know what is in that box until you get it home. Right?
