This is a good topic to bring up actually because there are a lot of variables at work here. My barrel is 21.750" in length and I'm using Lapua brass. I'm definitely at the higher end of pressure and it shows on my brass but I'm still using the original 300 pcs of brass I purchased when I had the gun built for the BCRA matches a couple of years ago and I think I'm down to about 257pcs now. Every time I reload, I always cull a couple due to the bases not fitting into the shell holders but I've never trimmed the brass or bumped the shoulders back; only neck sized and reloaded. I don't turn the necks either. If someone wanted to buy this left hand right port gun off of me, I think I'd sell it. It's proven to be accurate and reliable but I want a 1:11.7 twist slightly lighter contour barrel in a Cadex Defense stock and an ATRS Indifel action so I might was well just build a whole new gun.
