I have a "as new" Yugo Mauser M-48 I bought a few years ago for $399.00. Glad I bought one when I did.

Personally I prefer the German Mauser K-98 over the Yugo versions because they're more sleek and balanced and without the humped up barrel shroud. The Yugo's are great collectors items though.

These are M-48a's, so not all parts are milled. They would have a stamped floor plate. Production should be in the 1952-56 range from what I can gather.

The M48A was built between '52 and '56. Nice rifle.
