Pls Remove

1911- check- classic design, easily modded/repaired. Looks BA
BHP- check- the 1911 JMB intended:eek:- My favorite. Best designed, best looking pistol of all time.
Ruger SBH 44mag- check- Everyone needs a revolver. 44 is easier to shoot more frequently than my 460..

Wish i had room for .22 on list but you said 3..
To be honest Glock could go in place of the 1911 for all the same reasons...:nest:

6 inch GP100 .357 magnum stainless - because cartridge versatility makes it a great all purpose gun, this revolver would be my pick for "only gun" poll.

Glock17RTF 9mm - for zombies, ammo will be everywhere as well as parts and magazines.

1911 Commander .45 any make s'long as frame and slide are forged ordnance steel or better - all basic needs should be covered by the GP100 and the G17RTF, but my Norkie Commander made the list because it will back up either one when I cannot afford the cartridge/caliber to fail me.

Gen 3 Glock 17...easily the most proven combat pistol on the planet
1911 built by someone I would trust...let's say Jason Burton (although I would probably be pretty happy with a Wilson Combat or Nighthawk...say the CQB Tactical LE, or the GRP, respectively)

I get a third too, eh? Hmm...maybe a .22 or something would be handy. I'd rather leave the last spot open and rotate one gun in and out of it because there isn't really a third gun for me that I care about a lot, but I'd be interested in checking out the PPQ when it shows up, or some of HK's offering if they ever build a trigger I like...

From my perspective, as long as I have a G17 and a quality 1911, I'm good. And the 1911 is just for fun, really.

Glock 19 gen 2 - Personal favourite all around pistol.
FNH FiveseveN - Most innovative pistol.
Ruger MKII bull barrel - Best .22 pistol out there.

All opinions are my own and subject to change without notice as the mood strikes me.

My Current Mood is:

.22lr (Revolver) - Ruger SP101
10mm Auto (Loaded HOT) - Glock 20 Gen.4
9x19 - Whatever floats your boat

-Either a S&W M&P 9 (currently own) or would accept a G19
-1911 in .45
-go back and forth between a .357 wheelgun or a .22 pistol

I already have or will have my top choices because each of my guns was very carefully selected.

NightHawk Custom Predator II in .45

NHC is one of the top "Semi Custom" builders out there. I chose the Predator II because the almost unique barrel appealed to me and makes sense. I'm also partial to Commander size 1911's.

SIG X-Five Allround in .40

I bought this gun first because I wanted to qualify for IPSC Production. It has since been bumped into Standard as a result of Grayguns mods.

SIG P-210 Legend Target in 9mm

This gun is patterned after a classic and is the Euro equal of the 1911. While I wait for this to arrive, I bought

FNP -45 Competition/Tactical in .45

I bought this while waiting for the SIG P-210 to fill in my gun lust. It arrived as a Competition model and has been modified to the Tactical configuration and fitted with a Trijicon RMR RDS. This has proven to be a great gun and will resist being pushed out of the top three by the SIG

1. Gen 3 Glock17 with AA .22lr conversion kit....best combat pistol that can take a lot of pounding and shot cheaply with the kit.

2. 1911 single stack .45ACP....because they shoot so lovely

3. 4.2" Ruger Redhawk 44mag....for S&G's

All 3 are currently keeping me :D

For reasons you can own a handgun in Canada

M&P Pro - After market parts abound
CZ85 Combat - Best Steel gun for the price on the market IMHO
Ruger GP- 100 - Everyone should own a .357mag

For reasons you can`t own a gun for in Canada

M&P FS - What Glock owners wish Glock made
CZ PCR Compact - Light, compact and extremely accurate
1911 either 5`or Commander size - the best Combat pistol made, period.

Take Care

Bob

If I could only have three they would be

1. The best 1911 in 45ACP that I could afford
2. S&W PC 686 357 mag with a 6 inch barrel
3. S&W 617 .22 lr with a 6 inch barrel

Just my two cents worth.
