If I specifically go for grizzly in the spring, my favorite bear repellent has .375 H+H written on the barrel. With either 270 A-frames or TSX.

I think he means Ovis ammon darwini.

Ya the old (some very old) books use the "E" but as you say the newer publications have dropped it and now just use darwini
