Team Hoser 2-Gun Match

It was my first Match with these boys and first time ever at Colby. Nice place..
I had a great time. Fun little match. Always cool to get some rounds down range with M4 & indoors at that. Those spring back up poppers were fun to shoot and creative way of adding some extra rnds on the stages....
Will try to make next one too.

Another great match by the Hoser dudes!!! Those new reactive targets are just sweet.

Any idea why there's so much flash???

On Behalf of Team Hoser I want to thank all of you who came out and shot with us today. 667, Banger and myself enjoy hosting these matches and we will always try to challenge and offer you something new.

Thanks to you the shooter!!!

Thanks to Team Hoser for putting on such a great match. It was my first two gun match and I was definitely nervous. The competitors and match workers were all very helpful and friendly. A big thanks goes out to the shooter who loaned me a box of rifle ammunition, yes a rookie mistake I know.

Never trust the posted round count! Some wonder why my range bag is sooo heavy!:p
Really need to move toward an AR, that 5 round limit (and fixed mag) sucks on the SKS, but they are still fun to shoot! Also, don't have to practice clearance drills!!!!! :D

Don't forget the low light Feb 25th!

No... Do forget about the match on the 25th.

The Feb 25 match at Colby has been changed to March 4th and it will be indoors at GRGC.
Regular handgun match... Lights on.

The low light/no light is March 31 at Colby.

These and other match dates are listed HERE

On our Tuesday carbine practice session, every significant delay was from a commie and/or wood-stocked gun, not an AR... just saying.

That said...

As far as matches go... An SKS or VZ whatever puts you in what we call the Tac-30 div.
You're not competing against the AR's....
If you're stuck with a fixed mag on your SKS, well.... get practicing your reloads... There's no reason a guy with stripper clips can't reload as fast or dare I say faster than a guy inserting/seating his VZ mag.

In the end it really shouldn't matter much what platform you're using... As long as you know it inside out and backwards.
