G17 Gen.4 issues still present?

Hey I am curious as to whether the new Glock17 Gen. 4 still have issues with the lighter loads like the Winchester white Box, etc? I know that this has been an going on for a while but has it been fixed on new production guns?

I've got over 500 rnds of junk MFS through mine with no issues aside from the fact that I can't shoot it worth a damn lol. No FTF, FTE or anything.
 
same here, just crazy fingers :) I did different loads of American Eagle, MFS, reloads, all good, I find recoil spring is a bit sturdy, but it just might be me
 
Guys, is this with the factory recoil spring or the latest most up to date replacement? I have a g17 gen4 on its way to me right now as well as an updated recoil spring.
 
I was told when i called that anything maufactured after Aug has the new one.
My 34 gen 4 came with the new spring and is working great..only about 300 or so out of it so far though.

I wonder if you have the new extractor as well.

I called Police Ordinance who is a Canadian distributors for Glock. They told me shoot it as is, if no problems don't replace the spring. They said if you replace the spring, chances are you will need the new extractor, which needs to be installed by a Glock factory gunsmith, ie. gun needs to be sent in.

I bought a new in box never fired one but it has the old spring and was eligible for the replacement spring. Just looked it up, call 1-877-745-8523, you will need your serial number because they do ask. I got it just in case I have a problem.
 
About 150 rounds into mine. Shoots fine, although it's under the recall. Still waiting for the RSA. Don't know if I'll install it right away- maybe I'll wait until after another range visit.
