I always see threads about "backpack " .22s.

Normally there is a AR7 or a Marlin Papouse mentioned .

Well I think mine beats em.

This is a true survival gun because within the buttstock there is a survival kit with a knife,slingshot,fishing kit and some more goodies.

A french company makes it well used to make it I could find no information on this model online.

I aint going to tell yet I want to see if anyone knows !.

i handled that gun in a pawn shop in Utah, but for life of me cannot remember the make!!!

Pretty neat gun! Certainly a one (or at least very few) of a kind, you'll have to let us know how it shoots. Do you have any more pics of how it breaks down and stowes? And how much does it weigh?

When I first saw that rifle it was made or branded by Marocchi. As I researched it more I found it was also branded by Sovereign. The sovereign model had wood furniture that did not stow away. Looking at the schematic on numrich It looks like a Sovereign SM64 receiver.

Last I saw they were sold at Le Barons 15-20 yrs ago.

Sort of neat in that it is not recognisable as a gun at all when folded... but that is about it for me.

Does not look that tiny when folded in comparison to some other takedown guns. Hard to tell without an OAL and height when folded and unfolded I guess.

The norinco backpacker is a good substitute too.
