What is the funnest you can do with a restricted Black Rifle?

So I have always wanted an AR but never gotten one as shooting holes in paper isnt my cup of tea ...

They have IPSC and such for pistols but is there anything like that for black rifles? Bonus points if it is in the lower mainland and if nobody is squeamish about LAR mags.

I need something to justify an AR purchase, since those damn Zombies dont seem to be coming any time soon ;)

Yeah dude. Sounds like you need to buy one and do some service rifle. I haven't even shot a match yet, but I know that's where the playa's play.

Make a you tube video with kick ass music as you move throughout your house while changing empty mags and.......oh wait, never mind. Already been done!
 
Learn fundamentals of marksmanship in the different shooting positions and by doing so, will learn how to apply a force at a distance. You can do this by getting into service rifle at a range near you!

Or, you can do cqb stuff with the rapid mag changes, with fire and movement. There's a lot out there if you look, or are willing to travel.:)

I love the choice of weapons and I think Sprawlmart would be my first stop, as everytime I am in there with my wife I feel that at any moment these freaks are gonna just turn like that. Thats were its gonna start I just know it,and I don't want it to happen when I am in there pushing a shopping cart, while my wife is trying on a pair of jeans.

The zombies are amongst us. You may have seen them on tv last week. They were in the house of commons at a debate saying the same BS over and over again. If a person was talking and they had liberal under their name. That good sir was a zombie ;)

IIRC The Shooting Edge (sponsor) was running a carbine course. In fact, I think it was scheduled for this weekend.
 
Not a restricted rifle but you get the idea...
