First off, these mags will not use the B/C loaders, we have Promag loaders for them coming soon. If you are having any issues with the new 9-22 mags, try the following: First step, remove the feed lips & make sure the feed channel doesnt have any flashing & the rounds move up & down with no resistance, Reinstall the feed lips, Remove the sleeve & fit the mag, cycle the bolt & see if the top of the feed lips are contacting the bottom of the bolt, you may notice resistance. If there is contact, we put silver marker on the top of the lips & cycle the bolt, remove a slight bit of material from areas that have no marker on, slow & steady. It takes just a few minuites to do this & the mags should run flawless after that. They often will only hold 22 rounds until they loosen up a bit.

The 9-22 mags work just fine with the Butler Creek speed loader, minus the "sleeves".
If i remove the promag from the sleeve I can use a BC loader? Interesting, but kind of defeats the purpose of getting a promag in the first place lol.
I can't say for certain that the 9-22 mags won't work in the BC loader with the sleeves still on, having not tried it myself yet. I don't see why they wouldn't, though getting them locked in might be a bit of a pain in the ass. The Promag speed loader would have to be cheap as borscht for me to purchase an additional loader for JUST my 9-22 mags...especially when the BC loader works just fine minus the sleeves.
The Promag 9-22 mags still look way better than the Butler Creek mags in my opinion...it's just a shame they don't work as well.

I can confirm the BC loader will not work on these mags both with or without the sleeves on. I think its due to the feed lips being at a different angle.
Hical could you post a little picture tutorial for what you mean? I looked at the feed lips and I think I see how they are going to come off but I'm not sure how to do it without gouging or damaging the plastic on the mag.
I just recently purchased two of these mags from hical, and i am having trouble with them locking into my sr-22. They just fall out if they are even slightly angled. Do you have any suggestions on what i could do to get them to lock in place and actually stay in the gun?
I had the same problem. I had to cut away plastic flashing on corners of the magazine near bottom of feed lips and also around top of the shell. It would then lock in place with a bit of effort. So I would work the magazine release back and forth keeping the mag in, trying to put the mag in to lock smoothly and if it didn't repeat. It eventually wore in
I just bought three mags as well. Just playing around with them, I found that I really had to rock them in with some force. At one point playing around with one mag some metal shavings fell out after I pulled the mag free.
Once the mag is in and locked in though, it doesn't feel sloppy and loose like my 10rd butler creek does. I suspect that the 9-22 mags are designed this way. They may break in with use from what I've seen.
One thing I have noticed with my new mags though is a different problem. For two of my mags, anything past 3 rounds gets hung up on some protruding plastic near the seam on mag. I haven't taken them to the range yet but I was just playing around with a few snapcaps and this is what happened. I'm not sure if there will be more hangups further down the mag or not? Maybe hical can weigh in on this?

The mags definitely fit and work properly with the BC loader, I filled up about a dozen over the weekend...though they aren't as easy to get into place as the BC mags themselves.
I had them into the loader but the rounds were not going into the mag. I didn't want to force them into the mag since everything is plastic and I didn't want to break anything.
How hard were you forcing them into the mag?
I have the BC speedloader and two promags for my marauder kit. I find the BC works...to a point. The clips go into it fine but the spring is so stiff in the clip I can only get maybe the first 10 in with the speedloader then it starts to dent the casing. I know the springs will work in some but even by hand I am only putting 20 rounds in the 25 round clips. After 250 rounds/clip there is a noticable difference in the spring feel on hand loading.

I didn't have to force them too hard, but they definitely don't fit as smooth as the BC mags. Still loads rounds well, but again, not quite as easily as the BC mags the loader was designed for. Haven't noticed any denting yet either, but my perhaps my 9-22 mags are a little more broken in now.
I'm still having regular problems with the 9-22 mags jamming up/ftl-ing and stovepiping though. Any fixes I've tried are to no avail; dayum shame.
