Hey y'all!

I will be going to Hull casino for my jobs xmas party and was wondering if there is any goodie store/range i should stop by to make the weekend even more memorable.

All suggestions are welcome!

Thanks

EM precision is a store just across the street (26 ST. RAYMOND) from the casino by the McD's

Not sure what's up with him since the web site is down.

Apart from that there is Sportaction on St. Laurent. There's probably one in stittsville (has a range with walk on but you bring your own firearms (non -restricted))

Ottawa is not exactly gun store central. Most Civil Servants mail order their firearms!! ;)

Don't expect a CRAFM.

For stores in Ottawa you have:

Le Baron (Near Merivale/Clyde in Ottawa)
Sports Action (on St. Laurent next to the NuDen Strip Club and ### shop)
SAIL (near the via rail train yards & St. Laurent)
Gunco - has used/consignment guns, he's also a gun smith (190 Colonnade Road)
Stittsville Range & Gun Store ($20 range fee, $7.50 for skeet/trap)

Stittsville is the only range with walk-on fee for non-members, unless you can find someone else who is a member at RA Centre, EOHC, Connaught, or Smiths Falls ranges and is willing to take you as a guest (not sure of guest policy for Smiths Falls).

Wow! Thanks for the informative reply guys!

I tried trap once and am addicted. Was considering a Remington 870 express(wood or synth?) from LEBaron at 300$(30$ mail in so 270$). I guess by then i could pit stop there and head on to trap! But winter time trappin must be harsh?

I will have to hit EM precision for sure, hopefully they are open sundays

if you are here on sunday you can check out the ottawa trap and skeet club. walk on, $7 a round for non-members. it is located not far from the air port.

Nice!! This is where i will most likely end up at!

Em precision has been out of business for abput a year now its a shame because i liked going to see eric...
Damn, it was litteraly 3 minutes away according to google

Ps if you go to le barron talk to marc chartrand hes a good friend off mine tell him mike sent you lol
Will do :)

Don't forget L'Archerot in Gatineau.

Although first established as an archery store, it now sells just about everything about hunting.

The staff is very helpful and you won't find more knowledgeable people associated with hunting in the area.

The owners, Daniel and his wife, are professional hunters and always ready to help anyone visiting the store.

Classy location... all in one stop? :D

Thanks again guys, my party in Ottawa is this weekend and i came back to this thread to write down all the info :)

Hopefully Le Baron has a 870 Express in stock for me to go Trap shooting at the Ottawa Trap&Skeet Club (Connaught Rifle Range, Ottawa, ON Q5Q 5Q5 (613) 820-3804 - is this the right address? Google map puts it right in a residential area!)

Check again.....The range is on Google maps. It is not area 51.
The range is used by the military as well as civilians. If you look just west of downtown ottawa....look for shirley's bay, just across the river from Aylmer. Can't miss the range next to the river right where the river starts to head northwest.

To the OP...you were not entering a street address and that is why Google gave you a default city marker....oh and have a good time in town!
Here is the range....

For the members on here that live in the Ottawa/Gatineau Area, I'm a Quebec resident and want to get an RPAL but would like to register at the RA centre gun club in Ottawa...does the ATT I would get from Quebec allow me to cross over into ontario with my restricted weapon or am I bound to stay in Quebec? The problem with Gatineau is that there is no gun club (the nearest gun club is the upper gatineau gun club in Kazabazua, over an hour away).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

No problems....... I live in Quebec and belong to an Ontario club. Used to have a membership at the RA on Riverside Drive and would get my ATT from Quebec. I now belong to the EOHC.......one of the better clubs around with excellent facilities and very practical place to take part in a wide range of shooting activities.
