sent an email,I've been humming and hawwining about buying a baby eagle in 45 since I got rid of mine in 40 but the deal is too good to pass up especially with ammo...damn you
 
i own the 350 shot gun with an 18.5" barrel. List price at any of the stores in my town is $350. got mine at a gun show blowout for $200 last year. i highly recomend it at this price, bottom eject for both left and right hand shooters :)

That is an insane deal. Especially considering .45 is like $26 a box where I live.
 
Was about to order the Jericho 941/Baby Eagle in 45 ACP but more research shows barrel is Polygonal rifling. I shoot lead cast so no deal unless these can shot lead.
 
I've been shooting lead cast out of poly rifling in 9mm and 40 for years. Just need to clean more often is all (I use lead out). NOT saying do what manf recommend you do NOT do, just saying this is my experience.
 
That's the main concern, like buying a chinese firearm, sometimes it works. Heard leading can depend on having the right cast lead/arsenic/tin content and shape of poly, too many variables, trial & error.
 
Awesome Savage, I love my 37, good to see some one else interested in taking on the same design. That price is just spectacular! If this doesn't get some new shooters dipping their toes in to the shotgun world, I don't know what can!

If I didn't have to pay rent I would be ALL OVER that Jericho deal! I'm just to reasonable. I swear one day I will put my needs before my families haha. Lead eh? reloading? I only ever shoot FMJ (I don't reload 9mm, not the best re loader but I guess if I wanted to get better that's one way to start).
 
Wonder how bad leading is on 45ACP being slowest of the three. Expect 40 is worst, 9mm next based on projectile speed.

Trying to convince myself I need another 45ACP :redface:

Any chance you will have the Savage Model 350 in for next weekend? My buddy wants one so I am going to be picking it up for him and holding onto it until he gets his PAL.
