All right folks here it is, the long a waited WRAS 2012 Shooting Schedule.

April 21 3-Gun (training and mini match) 43 People came out
May 19 3-Gun
June 3 3-Gun
June 23 or 24 Steel Challenge
July 7 3-Gun
Aug 25/ 26 3-Gun
Sept 15 3-Gun
Oct 13 3-Gun
Oct 27/ 28 Steel Challenge
Nov 10 3-Gun

This is schedule is not set in stone and is subject to change.

This year should be a good one, we are in the process of picking up some new steel targets and making some pretty cool props.


Membership Fees
•$35 Adult Membership
•$15 Junior Membership (under 18)
•$75 Family Membership (2 Adult, 2 Juniors)

If it your first ever match with WRAS and you join the club the match is free!!

Match Fees
•$30 for Adult Registration (SGGC Member)
•$40 for Adult Registration (Non SGGC Member)
•$15.00 for Junior Registration (under 18)

I am also running a modern 3-gun match this year at Ponoka Fish and Game club. May 5 & 6 is our first shoot. The second one is in October. I am trying to get ATHL to do one in July.

Is anyone at your club interested in doing IDPA shooting?

Hopefully next month I will get info on our Ponoka FIsh and Game website.

We have looked at this in the past, we have been focused on strickly 3-gun for the past year and trying to grow it in the Edmonton area. I think this year we may take a closer look at IDPA.

We do have two qualified IDPA range officers living in Millet. I sure we could talk them into coming out to do the IDPA qualifer at your club.

I also have some steel props for use with shotgun or handguns.

I am working up my schedule and hopefully I can get out to your match and join your club.

I was an IDPA R/O down here (Calgary) and like the 3 Gun stuff you guys do up north. Count me in for a R/O if needed.

I think the match in May will be a one (1) day Steel Challenge. We are working with the range on a schedule conflict right now.

Regardless; looking VERY much forward to this year, and introducing some new shooters. Honestly Im so happy I joined up, regardless of how I place.

I'm in it purely for the sport... And of course, catching everything on video :)
 
You guys put on some great shoots,I hope to make it to at least a couple this year.
For anybody that doesn't know this is a great group of enthusiastic,fun lovin 3-gunners. Get out if you can...you will not regret it. Cheers WRAS
