Fake or Real TROY BUIS?

I have fake ones that show the same wear as your pics - it's like a bronze colour underneath (coated brass?)

I don't care though, they work perfectly and are very sturdy, for a tiny fraction of the cost of real ones

I purchased a LaRue LT-110 mount off the EE a while back and found it to be a fake. While the guy did not advertise it as a LaRue, the pic he attached was the back side which did not show the name and he just said it was a Eotech style mount. Still I thought there was a rule about selling 'knock-off' stuff on the EE?

I can hardly give lessons on the EE, but anytime I see "style ______" or " "_____ style" alarm bells go off.

Those are totally fake... what blows my mind is that people actually have the balls to pass stuff like that off. If you've been duped be sure to leave a negative rating and report to the police, that's fraud.

The EE is a minefield now a days.

Imitations, commonly known as knock-offs, cannot be advertised with reference to the wordings, trade names or model names of the real items they are imitating.

The seller followed the rules.

They are fakes they sale for about $28 shipping included, I have a set for my 10/22 Archangle.

The metal is much softer then the real ones

North Eastern Arms sells authentic sights for $218 plus taxes and shipping...hope you get your money back and go get these ones...they are out of stock right now but they should return.

i bought a set from them during the boxing day sale.

note newer troy sights come with the cage code rather than the part number to curb the sale of knockoffs.
what that basically means is that knockoffs will soon have the cage code on them too :)

just took these photos for reference...
