Help! I need some Sig magazine pictures, please.

I've got four from questar and there all excellent. I'd send pics but photobucket is F'n me around so pm me with your email if you want some
Because I'm a nice guy here you go: 2 from a base 226 (steel), 2 from an Enhanced Elite (aluminum?).
The 2 aluminum mags were so tight at the beginning I could only put 8rds in, then after 2 trips to the range I can now put 10 in. The steel ones were good right off the bat. Not sure what else you can tell by the picture.
My friend has 2 Mec Gar 10rd 9mm "California" mags, not sure where he got them but they are better than the Sig mags (look nicer, load easier). They stick out maybe 3mm with a larger plastic baseplate and are an alloy, maybe aluminum. If you can find them, buy em'. I think this is what he has, unpinned, 10 capacity:

^^^ I believe he's looking for pics of the pinning in the rear. Maybe he'll post the ones I emailed. I cleaned them up with g96 and the pinning proccess really showed up I will down grade the condition from excellent to very good

Some of the new models offer extended magwells so the longer mags are needed even though we have a 10 rnd cap. You can also purchase the extended magwell/grip to put on your model R sigs

It looks like st1264 just has a bunch of Checkmate mags, which aren't exactly earning the best reputation for themselves. You don't want to take your chances with those. The Mec-Gar half baseplate ones are much better (Mec-Gar used to make all of SIG's mags, thanks for the step backwards, Cohen) and should still be easily available, but the problem is that plastic bit. How many broken baseplates... Sigh. (Actually, I have a handful of nickel ones, if anyone was looking...)

Most of the ones I have are blocked rather than pinned, so they don't look any different than a grown-up's magazine. Unfortunately, I'm 56 bagillion miles west of the middle of nowhere right now, or I'd post some pics.
They fit flush, are metal, and look a lot like the Checkmate mags in st1267's pics, except they have no ridge and actually feed ammunition into the firearm.

I have used Mec-Gar mags (with the plastic base limiting to 10 rds, not pinned or blocked) and they have seen many hundreds of drops on concrete and hard floors in mag changes. I never had a cracked one, they scuff or dent a bit at the edge but they are the best in my experience for the P226. By the way, full metal mags that are not pinned but internally blocked are a bit iffy whether they are judged as "legal" or prohibited, depending on who challenges it and how easy is to turn them into full capacity. One has to be careful so I prefer the Mec-Gar that one can order from their web site if need be.
This is about mags that load easier than the 10 rounders and while they cost 90 some bucks they don't look like they been run by the truck if you know what i mean. That is the main objective of this thread. I want to see some pictures of mags that will not make me ask why i ever pay that for this.......
