How to Register Your M14 Rifle In Canada

Nice. I couldn't help noticing that yours said RCMP on them. I'm wondering, how many guys here have reg certs that Canadian Firearms Centre at the top (about 1/3 of mine do).

Ha ha ha ha

I burned all my non-restricted Certificates today at my homerange (burn barrel). It was windy so I used some hand sanitizer (AR180Shooter knows I always keep some on my vest at the range for the outhouses) as an accelerating agent.

Did it ever feel good to start that fire and ensure it burned right down to ashes. :D

Cheers and thanks, FRANK!

Likewise, I'm keeping mine as a reminder to following generations.

This current LGR is actually the SECOND one in Canada. During WW2, they had a short lived LGR. I have a photocopy of a cert somewhere.

Have a Springfield on the way...it's going to turn my M14 and others certificates into confetti. Symbolic to me..First non registered getting rid of the other registrations. You created an addict now for M14 and M1A here.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you guys keep track somewhere of all your weapon serials and info. One of the useful things  about the registry is that it let the police check to see if a recovered gun is stolen!
Make sure you guys keep track of that info so if the worst does happen, you can make a detailed report and get your baby back asap :bigHug:
