Post your Milsurp Pistols and Revolvers (looking for pics)

Oh for God's sake, quit your whining for pics...here...now leave me alone....and remember Nyles started the "handguns on ugly rugs" theme...

I like my rug....

Actually I like your rug too Nyles, just yanking your chain...I feel a group rug hug coming on....

Perhaps we should get rid of all these nasty, ugly handguns....give them away to the young CGN'ers and start collecting rugs instead.....

Naaaaaahhhh....

Yeah, I'm just joking too (well, I DO like the rug). That's quite a collection you have... reminds me how much I wish I had my 12.6. Any chance of detailed pics of the Beretta 1915?

I'll see what I can do about the 1915 pic, the pic I put up to make the OP stop whining :D is older, but I still have the Beretta, bought it for $60.00 many years ago. Amazing quality/machining in those old Berettas.

Whining he says...just for that someone outta make you post detailed pics of all of them...showoff...

:D

Thanks guys...amazing collections.

Nyles: what's the story on the long barreled Luger with the drum mag?
Nabs: Is that a repro stock for your broomhandle? Custom made? I haven't seen many with stocks.

I have no questions for 4b1t cause I don't want to bother him...:p

Quoted for sheer awsomeness...and Nyles takes better pics than 4b1t :p

HA! I can't argue with that !!!!

Seriously, there are some excellent photographers here, Claven, dr3dm (sp?) and Joe N come to mind. Just looking at the K98k thread and you do some fine work yourself, Mr. Klunk.

I don't know why I'm posting this. It seems pretty lame compared to what others have posted, but here it is. The super rare, hard to find, TT33!!:p. 1942 Ishevsk manufacture.

And check out MY rug!

Thanks!

The Luger is a Lange Pistole 08 (literally Long Pistol), more commonly known as the Artillery Luger. It was originally developped to arm German Artillery troops prior to WW1 instead of a carbine, but during the later part of the war they were mainly issued to infantry regiments for trench raiding. They were issued with a flat wooden stock that attached the holster (missing on mine), and sometimes the 32 round drum mag pictured. One really neat thing is that the drum mag is exempt from the magazine capacity laws due to rarity, and unpinned and functional.
