Mine has nice straight grained wood, others I saw didn't.
Sloppy soldering is evident but not to the point of weak joints.
The front trigger for the right barrel is stiff, the back trigger is light.
The break action was very stiff but this is a good sign as I doubt it will shoot loose.
The innards are full of that rotten foul smelling chinese equivalent of grease that softens the wood.
Looking down the sighting plane you can see waves in both barrels.
Bluing is O.K. but when I went through a bunch to pick mine I saw many that were rust pitted with the bluing applied over top.
The brass bead was loose.
SO -
I detail stripped it, de smegma-ized it, and frog lubed every thing, with frog grease at the relevant spots.
I sealed the wood with linseed and hardener.
Now I can break it open and close it easily and it smells YUMMY, not like rotting dead chinamen.
Field test - SURPRISING !
Boh barrels at 10 yards ALL 2-3/4" 00 and 000 pellets in the IPSC target vitals ! :
