I got zip, but wasn't counting on the Port Renfrew Elk or the Kamloops Sheep but was looking forward to a November hunt at FishPot Lk for Moose.

Local moose and local doe! I's always nice to hunt moose in your backyard. I put in with a buddy of mine who just started hunting this year, so hopefully he gets the shot on the moose! I used to strike out on virtually all LEH but the last few years I've done pretty good

My brother got VI elk this year. He has never put in for it, then he decides "I live here and might as well" and he gets it!

Nothing this year but I suppose I can't complain too much after drawing local cow/calf moose last year. I guess that means I'm heading north in August for the GOS on any bull

Yes. In my life I have had two Roosevelt draws(one cow in 1-09B, and an archery draw out of Buckley Bay). And a local lady I know has been drawn her second year in a row, her husband has been drawn 3 possibly 4, times.
My 61 year old father on the other hand has never been drawn for one, despite applying every year since they opened. At this point I think he's just waiting till he turns 65 and can try out the senior's hunts on the Mainland.

Oh, and every single soul in my group drew NIL this year.
