Benelli supernova tactical

Just picked up a 14inch collapsible, sweet gat. Although detail stripping is a pain in the #### has anyone taken of the stock yet to remove the trigger pack/ how do u go about it ?

It would probably be cheaper to sell ur super nova and buy a tactical.

Also does anyone know where i can a mesa side saddle or a +1 mag extension for my supernova?

Follow the instructions up till you get to that step, then loosen the round nut with the holes on the stock and back it off till the trigger group can drop out. Its pretty easy to strip actually.

GP Tactical have the Mesa side saddles, Brownells would be able to get you a +1 extension but it may extend past the muzzle.

Hmm I couldn't find a +1 on brownells, I called briley today they said it'd be about a hundred bucks for a custom one but they can't ship OCONUS

Okay for anyone who cares or doesnt want to #### up their gun a 4.5mm Allen key and a t27 torx bit fit 100% in the holes of the collapsible stock lock ring and do not slip out, stripping is now a breeze I'm gonna keep an emergency set of two 4.5mm Allen keys taped inside the butt stock cavity. Way easier to strip then an 870

Agreed, does anyone here know how to dissassemble the bolt? I noticed theres a pin but I didn't want to try punching it out till I know its safe or what the procedure is.

Picked one of these a month ago, put a 100 rnds of 2-3/4 target load through it at clays. Works like a charm! Absolutely love this shotgun

How does one mount a light on this, except maybe on the top scope rail?

I've been thinking of taking a short section of rail from a Magpul RVG and drilling through the very front of the handguard right in the middle, and then using a light like a Surefire X300 or a TLR1 or something, as they are nice and small. Might need a shim to make it point strait forward though....

If I can ever get the thing fully field stripped (AKA take the bolt out so I can get at the action bars and remove the pump!) I will mess around with it and see if i can get something to work.

Cool, I'll stay tuned. I've also found this on my research, which I think mount somewhere at the front end of action/ magazine tube., if it's compatible:

Others seems mount on at the front of the action/ magazine tube as well, but only on extended ones:

You might be able to sammich one of those between the mag tube end cap and the mag front mag tube hanger, but I'm not sure if the mag cap would stay put without the detent. Otherwise I'm not sure if that would really fit anywhere.

I wonder how difficult it would be to make a little rail section that attaches to the front sling point? Would keep it out of the way and be on a solid area.

I do have a new magpul RVG coming this week sometime, so I'll have a new little section of picatinny rail to play with. I just need to find a tool to loosen the pistol grip nut to fully field strip the gun!
