Recommendation for Improvements on NEA rifles & Company.

NEA wont be honest and truly man up for its short comings because greed is in the way, plain and simple.

Shilling.

Editing of people threads after having them moved to his own area.

Hiding post completely.

I can only assume with good reason NEA will say and do anything to make a sale.

I'll consider his unwillingness to reply to any of my post just a confirmation of stated points.

I'm an outside observer alike most in this, and seeing a new company with so much conflict going on......something is seriously not right and to be avoided.

Just looking at the facts.

You do realize that NEA is not a person, but a company of a number of people right? It's weird when you refer to the company as "he".

Oh, and I disagree with you - I thin kthey do want to put out a good product, depite the mistakes we have seen.

I consider the account to be their public relations person, assume everything goes through them to their masses.

As they are doing all the talking for the company.

Agreed...

Just to clarify, if you think that LMT and NEA are comparable they are not… There are many a things that LMT does that NEA does not, 4.5# triggers, proper BCG stacking, pinned gas blocks, milspec buffer tubes, stacked castle nuts… Initialled inspection sheets with every rifle… The list goes on…

I don't know much about AR's let alone own one, but on paper they look pretty comparable to high end products. Just the fit and finish seem the be the problem now. They aren't as pretty as LMT that's not even a debate. I think the problem is people expected superb fit and finish and comparable quality at 1/3 the price of high end products. Wake up, not gonna happen. As with cars, and most things in life actually, you can only choose 2;

-Fast
-Reliable
-Cheap

there is an older thread where Dave says they are on par with LMT. his words, not mine.

edit Mirk, beat me to it.

mine goes bang every time i pull the trigger. im 100% satisfied with my NEA-15. i could give a #### about the snide and backhanded comments from the middle aged, blue collar range rats. im to busy shooting while they're standing around bull####ting like the range is some elite social club...

They aren't 1/3 the cost of products that are just as reliable and are properly finished... LMT (at around 1500) Daniel defense (at around 1400) and even stag at 1300... So we are talking a difference of a few hundred dollars. Not multiple thousands. Just to be clear!

LMT also makes every single part in house right down to their fasteners. ...that's right from the the horses mouth BTW.

LMT not only has world class quality control, they have a world class reputation.

The NEA-15 is more on par with Norinco, minus the rail I'd say.

Have you seen and shot an NEA-15 or is this opinion based on what you've read? I ask this as an honest to goodness question because I've seen and shot both and it blows my mind to think that anyone who has done the same could make a statement like that.

"Around $1500" is still 50% more than I paid for my NEA15.
That being said, I'd love to pick up an LMT and I honestly thought they started for closer to $2K.. Can anyone point me to where I can get one for around $1500?

Interesting observation… so when Dave makes a similar comparison between LMT and NEA do you not make a similar observation?

No I don't. My NEA-15 is no LMT but it is a lot more than a Norinco with a railed handguard.

Your statement is contradictory. Dave said that the NEAs will be inline with the specs of LMT. But you don’t make the same observation that it blows your mind that anyone would make a statement like this?? But you say your NEA is no LMT?? Have you seen and shot an LMT or is this opinion based on what you've read??

Gotcha…
