AR15/M16 Compensator Reviews + Information

The European Rifle Championship 2012 is wrapping up and I have noticed that almost all of the competitors using AR15/M16 type rifles have a compensator affixed to them.

Look at this competitor's compensator, for example...

Where can I find AR15/M16 rifle compensator reviews?

I have read about over compensation... so perhaps I should mention that I am interested in 16.5" barrel length compensation.

Perhaps there are some people out there that can share their opinions regarding such compensators?

Any and almost all information regarding this topic is welcome and appreciated.
 
It does, if you follow the half moon shape, it goes right to the outer tube.

They have several finishes, and that looks to be a stainless one in the shadows.

Well, I was the only competitor from the New World... and probably the only one without a compensator on the end of my M16/AR15 rifle barrel (I had a Mil/LE flash hider).

A picture has been said to be worth a thousand words...

At the last Service Rifle match at CFB Borden... a "space gun" won the match ;-)
