28 Hour Ruger Mini 14 Sale $699.95

Well I apologize for the Canada Ammo mistake.......but not the ;);) on the other. If you get all raddled over a wink.....perhaps there is a reason they went on sale.......again - the guys who purchased are defending you. I will never know.....;) ;) (notice the winks.......but I'm sure you will be all offended by them again......)

It would make you look better if you would just man up, admit the post was in bad taste, and say sorry. It's quite apparent it didn't come across the way you intended it too.

Yeah. Can't wait... oh. Have to wait... won't arrive any sooner if I get anxious about it...
Thanks bigfooter for the links to the videos. The (was it a ruger rep) talking about the re-tooling was welcome.

Had to be a Ruger rep with that sis-boom-bah sales pitch! Look closely at his attire (especially his hat) and you'll see the Ruger emblem.

Holy #### quick Shipping!!! I ordered on friday at noon and its here today at noon! Thanks Frontier, and to those who were stating there was a reason rifles were on sale. Wrong again!

CGN at it's finest!!!

If you recall.... people slagged Wolverine for putting the CZ shorty's for sale at ~ 60% cut . Now the haters (or guys that missed out on the mini - 14 sale) are claiming they were on sale for a "reason".

Frontier, keep up the great work. These sales, your flat rate shipping and your great service makes for a very successful business and good customer loyalty.

Kudos for all your effort!

Walked into my favourite LGS this morning and checked the going price on the Mini: $849.99! :p

My fabulous Frontier version -- the one for $699 + $15 shipping !! -- is now in town, one province over, and getting ready to be delivered by Canada Post.

Top that for product and service!

And shortly.....we'll see WHY they were on sale...... ;)

Yup, we sure will! Urbanhuntr beat me to the "stolen" goods by a day. I got my Mini 14 delivered just before noon today -- but then I'm a whole province over from Saskabush. Door to door, that order took all of Friday to Tuesday to place, fill, package, dispatch, deliver for a flat fee of $15.00 and finally ... get my grubby hands on.

Crikey, now that's TERRIBLE service!! ;);) :p

Because of that fantastic bargain, I gave Joel and his gang some more business by ordering up 1000 of the Chinese surplus 5.56 X 45 NATO rounds.

Keep up the great service, products and bargains Frontier!

With the exception of one person, we ALL know why they were on sale: To create a helluva lot of goodwill and pump the business.

Should it be any other way?

There are now a number of "You Snooze, You Lose" Gunnutz folks sitting on the edge of their seats waiting for the next big deal of the day!

w:h:

I'm a "snooze and lose" guy in a lot of cases, but largely because of poverty. However... I've been tracking the shipping of my new toy, and it's in Mississauga now - on it's way to Cambridge... I could drive there in about 40 minutes but Canada Post is threatening to deliver it Friday...
Hope it takes a little less than that...

I guarantee that you'll have a very, very big grin on your face when that Mini does eventually show up.

Something else I picked up locally to fend off the "kick" of that Chinese 5.56 surplus ammo: a Pachmayr Decelerator Slip On Recoil Pad. The SMALL size (in black) actually lists the Mini 14 as a suitable recipient.

Note, however, that it'll add an inch of length to the rifle -- transforming the Length of Pull from 13 inches to 14 inches.

Sitting at work this morning - e-mail notification that I'd been "carded" by Canada Post.

Seems to be a complete mini-14 sitting on the table now. Woo Hoo!!

Well, I have to thank Gary at Wanstalls for my good fortune. I've been trying to get my hands on the Tactical Innovations 25 magazines for my Ruger 10/22 Takedowns -- Wanstalls is about the only game in Canada on that score -- and was told that those mags' long overdue arrival would be first announced on CGN.

I've been watching the site like a hawk for those puppies because I know they'll sell out quickly (and were supposed to be in weeks ago!).

Unfortunately, with my unexpected, spur-of-the-moment purchase of that Ruger Mini 14 (the 10/22 TDs are actually great training aids for that rifle), my budget for the TI mags is now shifting over to mags for the Mini!

Sorry, Gary! Thanks Joel!!

My excuse? I'd just spent that fateful morning reading oodles online about the Mini 14 and took the Frontier bargain sale as a "sign" that I had to get one. Who am I to argue with that?

BTW It didn't hurt any that my Ruger Takedowns are also stainless steel synthetic models.

Gotta love them weatherproof Rugers!

:)

Took my new toy to Bridgeport Rod and Gun range today for it's first bangs.

Woo Woo!!! It doesn't bash the heck out of the brass, it shoots minute of bunny rabbit or a bit tighter at 100 (bench at BRG isn't that solid, and with all the elevation blockage gear it wobbles around in a breeze so it's not the best place to get a good zero)

Me Likes This Rifle!

My two cents

I bought a brand new barrel at Frontier F and they sent me a very old one.

I sent many pictures of the rust, blue missing, Gun Kote applied and dents. They just told me that if I was not happy I could send it back at my expenses + restocking fees. There are better stores...
