I own a few righties, and a lot more lefties, or ambis'

Doesn't matter much really, I seem adapt, damned quick, no matter what.

Just picked up my first rifle in leftie. Tikka 6.5 and also own a sb2 in leftie. With the tang safety that is on my savage I do not really feel I need a true left handed gun. Mossberg has makes there 930 with a tang safety. Really wanted the 6.5 and tikka makes a leftie so I figured why not.

My wife and I are both south paws, only one RH bolt sits in our collection and it is a Mosin Nagant 91 (great for watching "Enemy at the Gates") that our cousin gave us which is almost ambidextrous.

Everything I own is right handed! Its what I started with and what I adapted to. Everyone just remember us south paws will take over the world and dominate cause we are in the right frame of our mind

I use all RH guns except for scoped bolt guns, that's just too awkward in a hurry.

ARs are really very lefty friendly though, add a Knight's (Troy,Norgon) ambi mag release and an ambi safety and you're good to go. I actually prefer the normal right-handed one. Just wear long sleeves and expect the odd brass burn near the right elbow. :)

Cross-bolt safeties that are behind the trigger should be converted to lefty or avoided if possible. There's always the possibility of putting the safety on when you're in a hurry. The Remington 870 family has a good lefty safety available.

Switched to Mossberg 590 A1 for the Tang Safety, and have a Stag Arms Model 1 L with full ambi controls, a Savage Arms Mark II BTVLSS, Browning SA 22lr for the bottom eject and the take down ability. Gunna go with a Browning Maxus with the safety reversed or a Super Black eagle in left hand not sure yet. Both are good for lefties. My Thompson Center .308 is right handed and I really like that gun just wish it was left handed.

I'm left handed but right eye dominant. Started out shooting lefty with righty guns, but recently switched and it is much better. After your muscles get used to it, my dominant eye shoots better Ergos on guns are better. Also, Started shooting with both eyes too. Lastly, you can use way more accessories now as they were designed for righties. I can shoot well from both shoulders now too.

Right handed but left eye dominate, I have a mix and seem equally proficient each way........... Just need to remember what you're holding.

If you shoot a right handed gun left handed, you don't have to move your strong hand/arm to work the bolt. Off of a rest, this would be a nice bonus, setup time for your next shot would be quicker.

The only thing I did not fire from the left shoulder is my Tavor (I have since then switched it for LH ejection). Everything else, right hand ejection is not a problem.

For bolt operation you have to adapt your technique, but as a lefty you are used to adapting anyway.

If the model exists lefty I get it, but if not it is not a nogo for me. My first rifle was a LH 700 (308 Sendero). I liked it a lot, but my next rifle was RH. No problem.

I'm right handed but left eye dominant so I shoot left, all my rifles are right handers,If I switched now I think it would just mess me up.

I am the same shot right for about 20 years and took me 4 years to switch to left and get my scores back at the time. Now probally 20 years later I cannot shoot right anymore. All my guns are right handed

I just recently bought a Savage 111 in LH.
I learned to shoot on RH bolt gun's and still own a few.
I can't believe how much easier fast follow up's are with the Savage.
I still like the RH gun's though.
I just normally leave my left hand on the grip and cycle the bolt with my right hand.

Never owned a LH bolt. All mine are right hand and it's been that way since day one, decades ago. I'm a lefty and also left eye dominant. I've tried handling LH rifles, but they just don't feel proper. I'm pretty sure that this old dog could not switch now! I might buy a .22 LH bolt just to try, if one comes along at a good price at a gun show someday.
