My first AR, and I built it!

My first AR. The first one I've built, the first one I've fired,the first one I've owned

PSA lower, Stag LPK, S&J 14.5 barrel, STI upper, Magpul ,NEA bcg, BCM charging handle and ATI com spec buffer tube.

Modified FSB with set screws rather than drilling for taper pins.It's where it should be so I will loctite and stake em. As well as a little paint touch up. I hope I don't get the hankerin for a bayonet.
Got the sparc of the EE and she was close, zeroed on the third shot.

Blasted 120 rds yesterday and didn't have a single malfunction. Shooting AE fmj as well as hollow points. Didn't miss a beat with MFS steel case either. Used Pmags and a couple LAR mags. Filed the front of the lar mags as the rounds seemed hard to strip from the mag by hand. All in all i am as happy as a pig in s**t. Thanks to Fabsports, CTCS, OSTS and Armseast and to the CGN'ers for a little inspiration.

Palmetto State Armoury lower from OSTS and stag LPK from armseast. Stripped upper from CTCS.
Bought an armourers wrench off e bay and made a vice block on the mill at work from a scrap of teflon.

Yup... I think the hardest part is choosing which parts you want and sourcing them

Around 1300 for the basic shooter. with the sparc, ms3 sling,asap plate, 3 pmags, 2 lar mags, moe sling mount, rail and wrench around 1750.
