Tigrr's 8th 1 mile shooting event.

that was a sweet weekend ,thanx again tigrr.

also wanna thank jason and ian and bob galloway for helping me spot my rounds and helping me walk them into the targets.

thanx to dmay for breaky and johnny for letting me shoot the 50

i learned a heck of a lot and am still analyzing it all,had lots of fun ,picked up a few pointers and learned of some other essentials to purchase.

i hit the mile target a couple times with the 338 edge imp for sure and stretched my 308 win out to 1500 yards reliably and consistently which is more than i thought i could. overall happy with the results and happy with the people i met and the stuff they taught me. wrote down a lot of notes

i am unhappy that after seeing all those sweet rifles everyone brought, the wheels are turning in my head now for another target rifle.lol.

L. D. for the next one begins now.

Laugh2 You probably haven't even built the gun for the next one, let alone able to do load development for it!!
Remember 223 to a mile eh?

Answer to post below!! A little more up is to be zero at 1000 yards!!
Ok whose going to spill the beans on the bonfire story?? PM me with it k.

Yes. If I built too soon there's a chance it could be misplaced. I don't have any fast twist 22 caliber barrels or maybe I do. These shoots are kind of exciting and the night before anticipation prevents sleeping, so I set this time aside for loading.

Thanks Hugh and Sally for a great time. Glad to see the faces again and fun time shooting. The wife had a blast again and she is already talking about next year.

Thanks Hugh.

Also would like to put a big thanks out to the prize sponcers as well.

Yes, thanks so much Hugh and Sally for everything. Great shoot, and I appreciate how much work you folks put into it. Of course, you raised the bar again.....
Thanks as well to all the sponsors.
We had a great time, always good to see everyone, and meet some new friends.

Duke - thank you again for the "goodies". Was great seeing you and Kyle again.

Steve - thanks for all the spotting help. Can't wait for your project to begin.

MaxOwner - didn't get into the conspiracies much, but had enough grief of my own getting there....you'll hear the story down the line I'm sure...

Looking forward to next year.

223 on that list now?

Thanks to Tigrr, and Tigress for a very fun time.

x2 to thanx for tigrss as well and the sponsers.

ahhh a 223 i dont know, not really a 223 fan. even though i seen jason pepering around 1500 yards beside me which made my mouth drop , i dont think so. i was thinking along a 22-250 AI or 260 AI. but ive got enough guns . think it would be better to save my money and next kinda event like this ,just swap rounds and rifle with another shooter if its cool ,trade data/notes and have fun. i wish i looked closer at all those sweet rifles ,just wasnt enough time with figuring out my rifles( they had priority).

ive got applied ballistics by brian litz on the way and have ripped magpuls art of precision rifle dvd to help learn this stuff, that Duke told me is a must. lots of learning to do,never ends.

Feel free to message me if you have any more questions. Glad to help a guy out.

I'm in and I'll bring my old favorite Tangle Ridge.
Minimum 500gr bullet?

Well at this point I'd like to thank Chinbullco with the painting and setup, Keegs, johnny boy and wolf for help with the setup. I'd also like to thanks the sponsers who put the icing on the day of shooting.
Big thanks goes out to the crew that helped take the whole works down in record time.
Thanks for coming out! Hope you all had fun, despite the afternoon mirage. 54 names on the 1 mile target shooting list.
