Remington 700 5R in .308 I bought 2 years ago. I've put a Mcmillan A-5 stock on it as well as had it glass bedded and a muzzle brake added. Has a Bushnell Elite 6500 2.5-16x50 scope and Leupold Rings. Also has Harris swivel bi pod and Butler Creek flip up sights.

This was from 100 meters using the bi pod shooting off the bench.
 
Thanks :) I thought the blue camo went well with the stainless barrel.

No reloads. I shoot Remington 175 grain match grade ammo. Works fairly well for me :)
 
My next personal project will be a stiller tac 338 with a broughton bbl in 30-338 lapua magnum, all dropped into a mcmillan a5.

I have few irons in the fire so have not shot much lately, but here are the ones I call my own:

Very nice! You should reload that gun will shoot much better then that try some Federal Gold Medal Match 165-175 gr. I am in Burlington if you need help with reloading more then happy to help. I shoot at Silverdale usually there from 6am on Saturday mornings.

Just a plain ole Savage 10BA with Nightforce rings and a Bushnell 6500 Elite Tactical.

It shoots pretty good with my reloads.

Trued 700, 7rem Mag , 27" Hart, 1-9 twist shooting 180 bergers at 2750 fps. Jewel trigger NXS 250 5.5-22High speed turrets w/ zero stop. night force 20min rail with NF ultra light weight rings. Mcmillan A3 sporter, can get .5 min aroung 950 yards. Starts to open up after that .9 at 1000 yards, My best at 1150 yards is around 15 inches on a 7 shot group, of course i could be the factor. gonna get some more practice at 1000+. can get groups in a quarter at 300.

I sort of am too, to be honest. I can get it to shoot accurately at about 2900, which is good for that cartridge with a 180. But i will literally get 1 min accuracy rather that quarter size groups at 300. Having said that, the recoil that is present ... or non exsistant at 2750 is a delight to shoot, with pleanty of hitting power at 900 on deer size game. I find everytime i bump the FPS up 100 the recoil feels like it double's.

I also have seen that as you go up in cartridge size... When guys get to the upper end of there bullet weight there still trying to get 2700. Example the 338 lapua, when shooting a 300 grain senar, or berger. guys are striving for the 2700 mark again. which is the upper end of the bullet weight for that cartridge.

I do believe there is some merritt to the saying ... "Speed is the girl you chase , but accuracy is the girl you marry!" i think theres a lucky few that occasionally are lucky enough to have both ;)

Definitely open to comments. Its a 180 berger about 5 thou of the lands. 63gr of retumbo, and a federal match primer. brass is nosler custom. Turn my out side necks, aneal my brass and I am dead serious about runout.

Where did you get that barrel fluted and how much? Do they do blued barrels?
