Evening,
I have been looking over some black rifle posts and have fell in love with three. Tried searching for info but not coming up with much. (It's late and I am tired) please bear with me.

Are the following rifles available as non restricted in Canada and what price are we looking at.
CZ 805 Bren Gun
Armalite AR 16
Armalite AR 18
Hope I haven't missed these answers.
Any info is appreciated.
Coyote fur will be priming up soon here in Alberta (had 2 inches of snow yesterday)
With fur prices up. I MIGHT be able to suck up enough to the wife to purchase one
Hears hopin.
Thanks in advance ,
Ken

Nope. All select fire assault rifles. The CZ 805 does not come in a semi auto only for civilians AFAIK. I would imagine if any of them made it into the civilian market they would cost upwards of $3000. The ARs would be at least restricted by name. And if the RCMP can't make up its mind about the SCAR you might want to put the CZ in the back of your mind for the time being.

The AR18 you could get close to with an AR180B. But there are much better options out there for precision shooting. If I were hunting coyotes, I'd be tempted to get a Swiss Arms PE90 if I thought semi-auto was absolutely necessary. Otherwise, I'd just stick with some sort of Remington 700 configuration.

They do hunt in packs :D

And they have perimeter defense :D

Personally I would go with a MG34. Set up a few hundred yards away from a river and on an angle. Have a buddy on a quad get them going towards your V and then like a WWII German machine gunner open up on the left flank. A nice angle and belt fed semi auto. Is it wrong that I've always wanted to do this? I even had a spot planned out when I was in the Peace River area. Unfortunately Marster let me down and didn't come through with any new MG34s. I've come to view that website like a Yuppi garage sale. Nothing is for sale they just want to show you all the cool sh1t they once had.

The RCMP made up its mind the moment they saw it, they just haven't figured out how to prohibit it yet. So they keep it in limbo instead and prohibit it by abusing the process.

Have coyotes become so much of a scourge that we need to hunt them in full auto? ;)

Instead of asking why, ask why not?
