I am looking to replace a bunch of 45 acp mags. Looking for good quality. Does anyone know of a canadian source?

Thanks

Dlask or Freedom Vent. - both have ATC made (in Italy) mags that are VERY (!!!!) good in all aspects. Those mags are under $20 each but are on par with (I'd rate them well above of) Wilson or Tripp.

after seeing a plastic base plate on a magazine get squeezed a little hard and allowed over insertion of the magazine I stay away from plastic floor plates... sure a metal tab can bend as well but usually the bumper pad on it stiffen it to the point it ain't going to happen.

buy quality wilson mags... buy once cry once.

Yeap, I'd swear by those ACT mags. At least the ones I had and used. I got those from S.H. at Freedom Vent. Every single mag proved to be (way) more reliable than Wilson or Tripp.

Nope, they are not 'flush fit'. There is a bit of a base plate. And it's actually a good thing. Those who shoot will know why.

Another vote for the Wilson mags. Pricey, but in my opinion you get what you pay for. P&D used to sell them....not sure if they do anymore...been years since I bought any 1911 mags.

I have had 3 types of mags to use in my STI Lawman .45 over the last break in period and one match. They all worked well. The ACT mag I got with my gun (STI on it). looks like a wilson mag with the same type of bumper pad. It has a steel follower. Works just as well as the others (WIlson, CMC). WHat I like about the wilson and Cmc is they have a little bit of give when inserting them for a mag change. The ACT /STI mag has a stronger spring. What I don't like about the CMC is the follower that came on mine...very narrow, slippery. I think I would be GTG using STI mags. I found no issue at all withthem. They all worked. The STI LAwman in .45 acp feeds better than my sti Edge used to.
