Bojangles,
Thank you for posting this information. It is very interesting to see what these firearms sold for. I think this was a wonderful military collection and I hope everyone is happy with their purchases. Comparing the sold prices to my absentee bids has been educational. I can't say I like Switzer's policy on absentee bidding but it is what it is. I certainly didn't bid as high as I might have if I'd been there in person.

Someone got a great deal on the Radom! Considering condtion that P38 was a good buy as well. And if legal I would have outbit the buyer on that MP40!

Thanks for sharing the prices with us. Some incredible stuff there. See the Colt 1911's fetched a high price, but I'm sure they were nice. My buddy will crap when he see's how cheap those C96 Broomhandles went for!

A few good deal, but some stuff sold ridiculously high as well. Very odd. For example, nothing-special prohib lugers all selling north of $1000 does NOt match my CGN EE or gun dealer experience- I can only imagine auction frenzy was at play with some of the pieces listed.

Thanks for posting the prices, saved me a call on Mon.We did get the 2 1903s...the prohib bidding deal sucks, good for Paul and the seller I guess. Will wait to hear if we got any parts [blank bbl.,batt. spares box,etc.]. Wish we could have been there but thems the breaks .

Did the p35 Radom have a decocking lever or shoulder stock slot? What kind of grips? What condition was it in? Matching?

It depends... it might have been priced right where it should be. Radom prices seem to be fluctuating... well, ra-n-dom-ly. ;)

With fees, it would have been $727. In my opinion, the correct value for that pistol and probably a good deal for the buyer. It looked like a reasonably nice example, although not minty and certainly had some wear.

Definitely have to take the other fees into consideration when deciding if its worth it. I've seen p35s all over the map this year.

Very, very true. Im not sure if they are selling for the (imho) ridiculous prices, or if they are just sitting at that price. Standard 2nd or 3rd varient German occupation pieces, matching in G-VG shape seem to be worth around 800-1000 max from what I have seen.
