my 7.5 is about to pass 4k, very happy with it

now if only NEA would get that damn PDW stock out id be set

I've been thoroughly enjoying my 10.5 NEA. It had some issues but NEA dealt with each one quickly and professionally.

It's a bit hard on the trigger finger with full up Chinese bulk ammo but it is a pure joy to shoot with my new hand loads. I've only shot it with a red dot on top at 50 yards and less so far so I can't really comment on longer range accuracy but as soon as I can decide on glass for it (I'm looking for a variable in the 1-1.5 to 4-6 range with a good reticle) I can then get some more useful accuracy load development underway.

In the mean time I really need to tear it down for a good scrubbing since I haven't cleaned it in about 500 rounds.

I'd recommend a NEA to anyone looking for a budget AR. You can spend more on a lot of different mufacturers' rifles and you would probably see an increase in quality (my other AR is a Colt) but you do get a lot for the price of an NEA.

In summary, I'm very happy with mine. YMMV.

My 10.5 has 1k through it now, it runs great accuracy out to 100 meters with the lucid red dot is good enough for my shooting abilities. Once again I have to say the fit and finish on mine is as good as my armalite no milling marks etc. All in all an excellent gun for the money.

question, will nea upper/lowers fit on other brand name upper/lowers... this has been confusing me a little as there are some reports either way, so owners please let me know.

After deciding to keep my 18" DMR I ran 400 rounds of norinco 55grn FMJ during my last range visit. After a slow start off a rest checking out how it shot i bagged on it dumping rounds out of the 6 LAR mags i brought. Aside from the trigger being rough I was very pleased. No malfunctions of any kind and excellent accuracy. Even with a very, very hot barrel it shot well.

Good to hear.

I'm pulling for NEA. I have one of their lowers on my Swiss Arms and have had nothing but success with it.
