It would be nice if the GSG-5 would make it under my christmas tree. *sigh* sometimes I really hate this country

We won't be seeing the GSG-5's as they are prohibited firearms. We are hopeful that we will have the STG-44's under peoples trees though. The sample of the STG-44 is in the Canadian firearms lab and we are hopeful that we will have a response and classification soon.

Best regards,

Are they metal or plastic ?

Are they metal or plastic ?

From what I have seen and heard from others the rifles are almost completely metal. We have ordered spare magazines with our shipment so they should be available when the rifles are approved for sale in Canada.

I was in the States 2 weeks ago and had a chance to hold one of these at a gun shop. Very, very solid and high quality piece, you'd never know it was a .22. Price was $629, wasn't on my "must have" list until now

As this is a .22LR semi-automatic rifle we are hopeful that we will have a non-restricted status. We will keep everyone posted and I will try to keep the first post updated as we get more information.

I hate to be a pessimist but I can't imagine this being non-restricted in Canada. I'm sure most of us could quickly come up with a lengthy list of of .22 rifles that are restricted purely due to outside appearance. I can name that song in four notes: Armi Jager.
