I finished this in August but have been busy with life in general lately, so I thought I'd post it now while the dust was settling. I took it out last weekend and test fired 200 rounds through it and not a single hick-up.
The pictures really don't do it justice....

Build info:
OEM 10/22 carbine stock redone & purchased from a great nutter (thanks Bulls-Eye!)
Barrel channel was honed out for a 18" B.C. .920" fluted heavy barrel (painted flutes flat black)
Polished 10/22 receiver
Tuffer Buffer
Polished and reworked OEM metal trigger group
Polished V.Q. mag release
Custom cross scalloped bolt (Head spaced to .043 +/-.0005. Adjusted firing pin to protrude .030 +/- .003. Enlarge radius and polished to a high shine. Cross pinned firing pin with a 3/32 hardened dowel pin, and chamfered to the top of the charging handle slot. Polish ejector plunger, deburred and cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner.)

Very nice work!!!!!!!!!! I really like the stock. What did you use to refinish?

Thanks....the stock was purchased that way from CGN member Bulls-Eye. (I just honed out the barrel channel so it would accept a heavy barrel)
Maybe he can chime in here and let you know?

I actually purchased it from a fellow on Rimfire Central. There is no way I could do handy work like that!
 
That is just awesome . There is so much sweet in that gun from the barrel , to the bolt and the stock in wood is so classy .
Love it !
