Wanstalls at Epps

Made the 3 hour trip to Epps on Saturday and while standing in the gunroom waiting to be served, I couldn't help but chuckle at the mousepad they were using on the counter....it was from Wanstalls! An older one than mine, all black.

not really all that funny, most good shops have at least one or 2 product lines they are the importer for, winstals has a few , epps have a bunch, so does TSE,OSTS and my company.
I think its great that epps is willing to buy from the competition.

i dont understand this thread
someone explain please ?

Wanstalls and Epps are both forum sponsors, and competing businesses.
Wanstalls gives mouse pads to customers.
The op saw a Wanstalls mouse pad at Epps.

It's not haha funny, but worthy of a chuckle. :)

yeah I know. I just purchased a rifle through wanstalls and they probably pocketed 500$ from it and the only complementary gift I received from them is a mouse pad.. They worth that much ?. I got a wanstalls mouse pad, oh ****ing yeah !!
that rifle is a Springfield 1903A4 from James river armory and I am very satisfy with the work JRA did on the rifle. very solid. I have a friend from USA who bought the same 1903a4 but from Gibbs at almost a 1000$ less but was delivered it in a better quality case (my rifle arrived home totally squeezed in that crappy plastic case) + a beautiful leather sling repro 1907 and other goodies. I would expected something a bit better than a mouse pad to be honest ;)
I know epps as well, the one located n Orillia, Ontario, about 50 minutes from home and always got A+ service from them.

Mouse pad ?? yes, I got a lovely wanstalls mouse pad as a complementary gift after I paid 1700$ for a JRA springfield 1903A4 sniper rifle. what a deal.. ;)

Yea I got a mouse pad or two from Wanstalls. I chucked it at the faces of the kids who were making noise outside my apt. It’s a nice floppy foam material that flies much nicer than the rigid ones of the past.

What the hell else am I going to do with a mouse pad.

If you haven't notices it will cost you at least $5 to buy a mouse pad (if you don't want to go on a trip across town to the dollar store just for a mouse pad)
So the mouse pad is a quite thoughtful gift to me.

You buy a rifle, not a prize bag. When I buy a gun I'm happy with getting the gun, I'm not disappointed that I didn't get a hug, a hand-job and a free mousepad/other promo crap with it.
