Rimfires on your wish list for 2013?

gonna be a 10/22 with an Archangel target delux stock, bull barrel, trigger work etc, and a nice(ish) optic.

next is gonna be an SR-22 with trigger work, cut and crown, optic and one of those magpul check mark looking fore grips.

next is gonna be a modern looking .22lr pistol, but I haven't decided on what one yet. I wanted the Ruger SR-22 pistol, but it doens't shoot hi velocity ammo. I may get a 1911 clone in .22lr.

Pretty sure the pistol is unavailable in Canada due to the 3.5 " barrel. Prohibited for sure, I guess if you had 12.6 you might be able to get one from the States. My pick would be the GSG 1911, looks like fun. Part of me would like a lever as well.

Someday....a Steyr Mannlicher Zephyr.
They elude me, constantly.

A guy used to bring one to the Montreal gun shows... Looked it over a few times, real nicely built rifle, price seemed reasonable for the quality (around the $1,000 mark if I remember correctly)... But could never convinced myself to buy it... I have that not-so-funny-somewhat-irrational need to have 4-5 magazines for every gun I own... The only two magazines I ever came across were +/- $350 US each, plus shipping :sok2

On my wish list for 2013, I wouldn't mind a older 77/22 (walnut stock with sights)... or maybe one of the 'new' Browning T-Bolt...

Like the OP, I'm hoping to get a Savage Mk II, but a TR...except they are $518+tx locally. Where did you find the FV-SR for $300?

I'd also like a CZ-455 Precision Trainer, but they appear to be a US-only gun.

I picked up a TR last year and i have been extremely happy with it. Very accurate and smooth. Comes in at around 12lbs with a bipod and scope but a fun rifle to shoot no less.

I've been trying to find a really nice 22lr bolt repeater.
I just haven't had the right gun, a shopkeeper I like and me in a mood to burn cash in the same place at the same point in time...
It will happen; hopefully after Dec. 21st,lol

As mundane as it sounds, I'd like to pick up a Remington 597 for next summer. Had all kinds of rimfires over the years, but have never owned a 597 or any sort of lever action (saving that for my 50th).

I would really like to go back to basics with a Savage Mrk 1 singleshot with a wood stock.
I have a 10/22, for fun but would like a nice Canadian bolt action to set up with a high magnification mildot scope to nail everything with stingers on down to shorts and CB longs.
My wife asked me this same question yesterday!
Merry Christmas

PS i would prefer a mrk II that is if they come with a single shot adapter.

CZ511 harder to find now but unlike the 512 they are made of steel. i have never had a semi 22 of my own. i like my bolt guns

You wouldn't happen to have a contact would you? I know it would be a super longshot, but it is still a shot right?

Looking to purchase a CZ452 Lux in the next little while to go with my CZ452 American, CZ452 Varmint, CZ452 Silhouette and CZ452FS. Also may be looking for a 452 Scout if I can find one with nice wood.

Anyone reading this let me know if you have one for sale.

For 2013, I'd like to wake up some of the current projects...get 'em functional. That would make for a busy year though!

As far as acquiring a different rimfire, the list still goes on, and on, and on... I have a weakness for .22's. So many untried, and so many tried, sold, and missed!
