Takes 3 for that...so I'm in aswell![]()
I sold my Tavor to Bob in Vancouver....(if anyone asks).
That Bob fella is gonna own a few guns.
J
saying a NR will become R or P IS going to encourage sales... because people will want it before they cant have it...
likely just an honest mistake or someone just spreading the latest gossip
no status changes are planned as of now.
hey guys I had a question about the tavor I know that its non restricted and I went to a gun store recently and I was looking at the tavor and the guy that was helping me said hey do you have restricted on your gun license and I said yes why and then he went to say that the rcmp is planning to make the tavor restricted pretty soon and I was like why amd he said because its a bullpup so now im confused because I really wanted to buy it has anyone else heard this ?
Don't listen to things you hear at a gun store.
My local gun store told me not to believe anything I hear on cgn
You have me intrigued now, so if you buy a NR rifle and it gets changed to R or PRO you keep your purchased status? cause I thought you would then have to register it and get an ATT, etc etc. and if you didn't report it you'd have no luck shooting it in the woods or the range.
No, the rifle gets confiscated. Ask T97 owners.
I think both are solid advice.
Some guys behind the counter are full of sh!t, some guys in front of the counter are full of sh!t, and some guys on CGN are full of sh!t.[/QUOTE]
Well put....![]()
The thing about the T97 is it was always prohibited, and was wrongly classified otherwise (at least this is the current situation). If a new OIC were to be issued, it's hard to say what will happen.
ive been hearing these gunshop rumors about the tavor for a few years now... right up there with the AR will soon be non restricted.... just wait, its gonna happen! haha
To be fair, it was non-restricted at one point.
Edit: the AR15 that is.
