The Best Pictures From Hunting, Without the Kill

_MG_9935.jpg

I took this picture on our last morning of goose hunting in S Sask. By the looks of all these birds one may get the impression that it's easy to fill limits.
We did, but worked at it. That morning the snow geese flew off a small lake for nearly 2 hours going to the fields to feed.... Man, they make a racket!

Sure was great to see the sun after a cloudy cold , windy week at the end of October.

Lucky...

What a fantastic thread! I can't believe that I haven't noticed it before now.

I'll try to play as well. I've got a bunch of pics that make me smile. Now, about this photo posting thing....

A few sunsets, one moonrise, some critters, some birds, some hunting partners, some other stuff:

Confused by the last pic, in the best pics of hunting thread

How so? Your OP asked for Hunting pics WITHOUT the kill. I looked through and saw beautiful scenery, live animals, and shooters (with or without their dogs). So how does adding a picture of my hunting scenery with a hunter in the foreground confuse you? :D

I am sorry that my pictures aren't of African game or big open space Mule deer hunts. Just a picture of a guy in central Ontario out for his 2012 hunt (in which I finally got my first deer!), and besides the pictures of me with my deer, this was my favorite pic. :p
