Just got my TD 10mm from Prophet ( Bigs thanks to Clay & staff ) and what i can say that rifle spell quality and solidity in every parts, there is a very solid feel to it and it is very light, the Glock mag is a snug fit and the trigger is actually better that i expected breaking @ 5.5 pounds with a short predictible travel, did not shoot it yet but the way i figured, it wont be my last TD, will have a nice holografic sight on it by the end of the day...JP.

Glad to hear you're pleased with the cosmetic appearence of the TD. Why would you expect a heavier trigger pull than what is found on most AR's? Unless of course, you don't have an AR? Before you buy another carbine, go out and shoot the piss out of this one to see if it's actually something you enjoy shooting.

I think I'm close to buying one of these in either 9mm or .45ACP. I'm leaning toward the 9mm. I wish JR would get their act together and release the JRC in .45ACP that uses 1911 mags. The cost of the mags alone would be a huge savings for me as I've got at least (5) high quality mags for the 1911 now. I don't own a Glock and I'm going to have to invest a lot into mags with either carbine in 9mm.

Where can a guy buy OEM Glock mags without having to pay a ridiculous amount for them?

I cant compare with a AR, i dont own one but my brother did and i enjoyed shooting it at the range but the thing that pushed me toward the TD is the fact they chambered it for what i consider to be the best semi pistol round the famous 10mm, before i saw that it never crossed my mind to get one of those carbine... JP.

F.Y.I. TD makes two variants for the 9MM.
One takes Glock magazines, and the other takes Colt 9MM subgun mags.....WOW...GREAT...only $300 PER!
It also works with the infinitely cheaper 10 round pistol mags that were available through Questar.

I opted for the .45ACP version, and apart from being a threat to life ( and thumb) while servicing/assembling, it is a very solid little gun.
At 50 yards, using a crappy red dot, it was giving me 2MOA with American Eagle, and better with Hydrashocks.
Definitely recommended.....

You should try to find a Bren 10 to compliment your TD.

Why a Bren 10? A Glock 20 would compliment the carbine much better since it uses the same mags.
A Bren would be cool if you could find one but not a good match to the TD.
I'm considering having my vector rebarreled in 10mm. Would make a great deer rifle and still go well with my Glocks

Looking forward to the range reports and pics.

I mentioned a Bren 10 because it was the first commercially available handgun made available in 10mm and Caramel has lots of money where he can enjoy the finer and more exotic firearms that can be found. Sure, a Glock would be fine, especially where he can use the mags in both guns.

Your .45ACP will kill deer just fine.. Yes, the 10mm would be "neat" but hardly necessary. Personally speaking, I'd be far more interested in a 10mm carbine than a 10mm pistol.

Big sale @ Questar, got 2 Glock G20 10 rounds mag for 42.00 a piece all included, not to bad for the real stuff... JP.

Friday did order 3 boxes of 10mm Hornady 200 gr XTP bullets, 2 pounds of longshot, 200 pcs of CCI 300 and 200 pcs of CCI 350, will break in with UMC 180 ammo ( at least 200 rounds ) and i got my idea of a hot load for the TD that should run just south of 1400 fps out of the long tube, cant wait to see what kind of # the Oehler will show, over 1400 fps would be a bonus at 900 pounds + of energy, kind of a perfect thick brush deer rifle with 11 fast shots of... Umph... JP.

Guy on gunbroker sells 10 round Glock mags for $21 a piece and ships to Canada. Works out to be about $30 each......

Doesn;t everyone know that :p

Would not mind buying 3 or 4 more, can you give me the exact coordonates to reach the guy... JP.

I haven't read anything about this rifle before this morning is it restricted?

If it isn't it would be awesome to add this to my 10mm collection.

We had a bunch of these about 10 days ago in 10mm (5 sold out within hours), 45 ACP, 9mm, and 357 SIG. We now have two 357 SIGs left. We are trying to get more, however, TD has put in a $200 price increase. Meaning, we are selling cheaper than we can buy more at this point. We are trying to get them to deliver more at close to the 'old' pricing but the way things are in the USA right now; not sure if we can. So, these may be the last we see for some time. Those that got them, enjoy!!
And they are non restricted, although, TD makes a shorter barrel that would be restricted.
