Went to a place called GMS Tactical in AZ for some 5.11 TDU pants...

I almost cried while walking around the store :-/

Any ideas on what I can bring back? I'm guessing not much.

.....I have only spotted one AR... It was sold and sitting behind the counter at sportsmens warehouse, tried to get a tour at Dillon but there balls to the wall shipping orders so no tours... .223 is flying off shelves, there lined up 30 deep at the handgun counters... CCW courses are booked solid with extra courses popping up daily.... Nothing like the word "ban" to increase sales down here.

Ok if you say so. And what is wrong with the airsoft version of the magpul RSA or forward grip I bought, other than they were both half the price? And no my #### didn't fall off because they were PTS versions. Please stand by for crosshairs kool aid rant about plastics and not milspec BS. I'm not an operator and never will be, so if PTS stuff lasts two years or so of range use great.
 
Most is available in Canada, the markup is ridiculous though you guys are right.
If PTS fits the bill for your uses, go for it, saves more money for ammo anyways. Ive got regular magpul stuff, only because of the faint chance ill use it for real.
The other bright side, is it kept the airsoft kids from buying up the stock of the real gear...

The biggest joke is those "airsoft kids" put their kit through more crap that would probably give most of us convulsions if we saw our prized AR's get subjected to.
 
If you can't afford real Magpul AFGs for $33, RVGs and RSAs for $24 (minus the $5.75 flat-rate shipping from Brownells), I have no idea how you have any kind of money for ammo.

I'm checking eBay right now... All this PTS stuff is nowhere near "half the price" of the real Magpul stuff. In fact, I get the real Magpul stuff from Brownells for less than most of the PTS stuff that I see. Actually, including shipping, I get all the Magpul stuff cheaper than the PTS stuff. The only thing I see cheaper is their sling... I'd love to see how that holds up. Oh nevermind, you only use this stuff at the range.
