Anybody mark your mags with a tool engraver instead of paint? CT has one for $20 and I'm sure there is some kind of a bit for my Dremel. Can anybody think of a reason not to use an engraver?
 
You can get the little vibrating engravers. I wouldn't use a little burr in a Dremel rotary tool. Too hard to control.
Paint is durable, but isn't permanent.
 
I know of one Alberta member who puts "Hello Kitty" stickers on his magazines. He claimed that they were actually for his wife's gun...

One suggestion that likely most of you already realize.
Be careful where you put the stickers; keep 'em low and use thin ones.

Why do I mention it? You might ask...

I had a guy want to return his mags because they wouldn't fall out when the mag release was pressed.
He had put number stickers half way up the back of 'em and they were the really thick kind.
A quick swipe with the knife and they worked - and the guy was actually disappointed his stickers had to come off.
 
Sharpie ftw on LAR's. Might need to touch it up every year, but meh. On my darker blued pistol mags I use some old Testors model paint and engraved numbers on the back strap side. For CZ-858's I just use a wrap of green electrical tape around the bottom, :)
 
My buddy has a square of white hockey tape on the bottom of his mags. I have nothing. We're normally the only 2 shooting Beretta's anyways :cool:

You should have sent them back with Hello Kitty stickers on the baseplate :D
