haha thats neat but if you have the ability to cut the wall out (which is easy) you have the ability to make a box in the hole

That's only true if the NR firearm is on display and even then you can display ammo with the firearm (just not ammo that fits in the displayed firearms).

If you can secure the door / cover somehow (remember that it must be *opaque*) then technically you can keep the ammo for that fiream with it as it is in storage and no longer on display. The CFSC videos show a converted linen closet with a hollow core door and a $10 locking door knob as sufficient for storage.

Just sayin' ....

Yes, for non restricted firearms with a trigger lock.
