Sorry Can Am for all the whiners, I/we want low prices and can wait

Lets look at it mathematically (the best way to look at things)
Usually "Low price = Slower" and "High Price = Faster", but "Fast + cheap = sold out", "slow + cheap = forum complaints", and "Fast + expensive = normal", "slow + expensive = out of business".
As you can see "slow + cheap" only suffers complaints but will continue to do business.
I can see why people complain that it's slow, cause it can be. But you paid less, and the way they keep cost down is having a smaller staff which leads to longer processing time. You can complain and cancel your order but there will always be people wanting the cheapest price and can wait forever.

Wow, the CanadaAmmo thread is just a vast wasteland of nonsense now. Remember the days when you could read upcoming product releases and specials? Those were the days... Now it's just impatient people wanting to "kick the cat" after a bad day.

If you don't like their service don't buy from them again. Or call and cancel. Heck that would speed up things for those of us who don't mind waiting for our orders. I'm not saying I like to wait this long either, but I do love their pricing so I'll deal with it.

Man, CGN is full of whiners and complainers. What a shame.

Not only that but all the noob threads singing the sponsors praises because they bought a gun and it went smooth... Who cares, it's supposed to!
Then you get a million replies from post whores with their stories about purchases that were similar which were also posted in every other alike thread. (also lots above)

I miss seeing what's new and on sale.

Their slow processing and shipping is mitigated by their low prices and free shipping, so it should be expected. Suck it up and pay more elsewhere, or ask Canada Ammo to place warnings/notices on their website saying their service is slow. Good luck ;)

A little support here.I ordered NORINCO .223 Rem 5.56 Ammo, Ammo Can of 800 on Jan 7/13 got it this morning Jan 16/13.Is this timely ?? Who cares got free shipping to the other side of the country meaning east of Upper Canada.

It just sucks to see a business in the Canadian firearms community that's done nothing wrong get publicly raked over the coals by impatient, immature, ungrateful costumers.

Nothing wrong?

Id say telling customers 3 days for processing then taking 8 is doing something wrong.

Not a huge deal but poor customer service all the same.

I dont imagine too many people in any type of service industry could get away with that!

If they let customers know an honest timeframe things would ne different, at least for me.

Perhaps what some people are forgetting is that these posts are HELPFUL for Canada Ammo.
The last thing you want as a company is to have pissed off customers and not even know about it.

The alternative is to lose out on business and not know why or even suspect there is a problem.
So attacking people because they voice their displeasure does not help C.A. out.
I cancelled an order because after 6 BUSINESS days it was not updated or processed and the gear was in stock. This is unacceptable to me and I let C.A. know about it to give them the chance to perhaps adjust how they deal with this in the future.
They do alot of things right, but like all of us they can continue to improve. Without feedback it is hard to do. I gave them feedback by cancelling the order.

I deal with pissed off, immature, a$$hole customers 5-6 days a week. people are a$$holes and I can't stand them sometimes, and yet somehow they are always right? no sir, customers are always wrong, and just :bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug: and complain about every little thing.

what is it with all these threads popping up lately?? some praising the retailers like their GODS and some sh!tting on them. why don't we just save it for ourselves and let them do what they do, sell product.

I am not trying to be a ####, but I am assuming they don't need your business or mine, as they offer products at such a cheap cost that regardless of their extended time frame, people will line up to purchase from them. I am assuming their discount rates are offered because they cut operating costs elsewhere. I am operating solely on assumptions, so correct me if I am wrong.

CGN is turning into a zoo for clowns, a pity.

Now this just doesn't make any sense. Wouldn't it be a circus for clowns, and a zoo for monkeys? A zoo for clowns is like a hat for fish. Silliness. Besides, clowns are funny, or to some, scary, and I think you are refering to people you think of in a disparaging way. Perhaps what you meant to say, was that cgn is turning into a soap-box stage, onto which various vocal idiots, conspiracy theorists, impatient brats, and haters vent vitriolic verbal effluent into a digital community.

I disagree. This is all good sh!t. Now lets pick on the noobs here and debate the same side of an arguement.

Except that, for some, there is no leeway given even if there are circumstances that warrant extra patience. For example, it's the xmas rush, a huge order has just come in, it's SHOTSHOW time, etc.

Again, these are small businesses with small staffs. As a self-employed businessman I have sympathy for CanAm when a bunch of somewhat over-the-top complaints get put on a public forum slamming the very enterprise that pays their bills.

I have ordered from CanAm several times. I order and I never count the days. I readily accept that (free) delivery may be very quick to somewhat delayed. If the delay were inordinate/unusual I might send an email or make a call. I wouldn't rake them over the coals publicly unless the misdeed was fairly egregious.

Please don't get frustrated by all the whiners. Your prices are awesome and I never had a problem in dealing with you guys. Let them deal with SFRC, it will take as long (they just don't know it yet, lol).

cool story bro,

that reminds me. Never deal with you either.

their shipping/processing times are retarded. I will not order from them, if this is the standard. Hire more people, simple. I cant stand the no PM's either.

You are exactly right. They could tell all the people who complain to get lost and serve the ones who will wait... and still be a full capacity! That's not good business, but I bet the volume of orders is overwhelming them right now. You need CanadaAmmo more than they need you. They price-match, sell ammo/firearms at fantastic prices with free shipping, you just have to wait a while for delivery. Get over it. People will line up for these prices.

same here -

you will wait weeks for delivery of ammo from Can Ammo, they are getting the stuff, but it really isnt in stock. They take orders and then make their order from overseas to cover them .............. its done afterwards. They are making sure they dont get stuck with stock. I dont see why when they aways sell out of the regular ammo
