Value advice needed re 28" barrel for Mossberg 500

I have a brand new 28" barrel for Mossberg 500, vented with a mod cyl that I don't need and want to sell
Does anyone have any idea what I should ask for it?

If it has a fixed choke, drop it to about half. If it has interchangeable chokes, then $170 shipped is a good starting point.

if fixed then 100 prob top dollar
ill b looking for one of the accuchoke models myself for next summer for my maverick
i expect about 150 plus choke set cost

The way I see it if Cabelas wants 189 brand new then 170 plus shipping for yours is too high

$150 shipped max id say......I try and price things so they go fast, for the sake of a few bucks its gone faster and
in the end we end up selling cheaper and it takes longer...price it right and you wont have to wait for your money!

Let's do the math. Cabela's has a Mossberg with 2 barrels 1 28" fixed modified (like yours) and an 181/2" plain for $299.00. You can get a model 500 with a 28" and accuchoke replaceable chokes ( full, modified and imp cyl) for 319.99. A 28" barrel with vent rib barrel, ported and a choke set sells at Cabellas for $189.99. That tells me the receiver is worth $130 retail. If I can buy a 500 with 2 barrels for $299 minus $130 for the receiver it leaves me with $169 for 2 barrels. The replacement barrel with chokes is $189.99 therefore your fixed choke barrel is considerably less than $100. If a plain 18 1/2" and a 28" vent rib fixed choke are worth $169 retail I would say if you get $75 you would be doing well as it is still used as it has left the dealer's place of business just like a vehicle.
